Sound Inter Clubs, racing off Larchmont Yacht Club, July 23, 1929.

30.5' Burgess & Morgan designed, Abeking & Rasmussen built Atlantic class sloop WRY, BONNIE, and ARIEL-TOY (built 1929 in Lemwerder, Germany), 29' Charles D. Mower designed, Henry B. Nevins, Inc. built Sound Inter Club class sloops SAYONARA, iSc #16, POPPY, iSc #24, ARCLAY, iSc #20, SPARKLE, iSc #2, flying C. Albert Kuehnle's private signal: green rectangle with figure running with paintbrush and paint in black, MERRYWING, iSc #11, DAPHNE, iSc #27, and ERMAR, iSc #6, at Larchmont Race Week, and two unidentified iScs on starboard broad close reaches. In background is another race: port beam view of WRY, (A/44), BONNIE (A/P/18), ARIEL-TOY (A/M/24) and other Atlantic class sloops on starboard close reaches under marconi-rigged mainsails and jibs. A committee boat is anchored between the two races, land in background.
